From Sunday May 1 to May 15, crates filled with an array of flowers and plant life created the first Rundle Mall Living Colour Festival adding a pop of colour to the heart of the city. Thanks to the partnership between Rundle Mall Management Authority, Nursery and Garden Industry SA, Horticultural Media Association and mental health organisation Headspace, more than 3000 plants, including ferns, pansies, snapdragons, geraniums, chrysanthemums and herbs, provided by South Australian growers showed exactly what plants can do to our lives – add colour, balance and fun.
