Deciduous trees are beginning to show their autumn colours and what a pretty sight they are too.

However, we all know what happens to those leaves when they finish showing off, they fall and that means there’s plenty of cleaning up to be done. Looking for some mighty helpful advice on ways to clear that leaf litter? Thought you would.

Strong brooms and rakes are always a good starting point for clearing up leaves and other mess. Things to look for in an outdoor broom – go for something with hard bristles that will take the harsh wear of pavers and concrete. Rakes, on the other hand are best flexible, to catch and move leaves and branches. However there are other, less strenuous ways to clean.

When it comes to mechanical cleaning, blowers and blower vacs are the way to go. Whether they be electric (Rockwell Outdoor Blower Vac 2400W), petrol (Victa 26cc Petrol Leaf Blower) or battery (Bosch 18V Lithium Blower), drop into your local Mitre 10 and have a chat about way to clean up your place. I reckon when outdoor cleaning sucks, give it a blow!
