A diamond hone is a cheap and easy way to keep your grafting knife or secateurs. Place diamond hone on the blade, same angle as the existing blade bevel – 20° for most knives & snips. Stroke away from the body. Repeat 4 to 5 times. Turn blade over. Lay the hone on the flat side and stroke across the blade. This removed the small burr on the blade, and the blade should now be sharp. WATCH THE CLIP
