Fresh from The Block, South Australian contestants Tim and Anastasia show Kim how they’re putting their skills to good use and transforming their own personal block! We’ve all been glued to the TV, watching the contestants on The Block transform barren spaces into beautiful vibrant rooms! So while they toil on The Block, how do they go working on their own home and garden? The only way to find out is to visit, so Kim drops by to catch up with our very own SA Block contestants – Tim and Anastasia! Kim finds the couple in their lovely Balinese hut, you almost wouldn’t recognise them without power tools or paintbrushes in hand. Tim and Anastasia tell Kim about their whirlwind journey on The Block, and with auction time just around the corner, the couple will hopefully reap a hefty reward for their blood, sweat and tears! With their own block they’ve purchase a large 930 square metre plot of land, with a modest sized house and large back yard. Their block is complete with a pool for the kids, areas for the dogs to play, and hut with a swim up bar that would make any tropical resort jealous! The yard is still a work in progress with a large feature along one pool wall with different levels to be planted up and a water feature in the middle! Tim and Anastasia also show Kim the gem in their garage, a 1968 Falcon Coup from the US that they’re in the process of restoring. WATCH THE CLIP
