The thing I love most about animals is their difference. The fact they come in all shapes and sizes.

Some love the heat, others the cold, some have feathers other fur and others fins is what makes them such a fascination.

A visit to Adelaide’s world class zoo will quickly show you show how wonderfully diverse the animal kingdom is. Not only are they diverse in appearance they are also incredibly diverse in their dietary requirements. Feeding time at the zoo is a major gastronomic challenge and Adelaide Zoo’s, Jeff Lugg, knows all too well about those challenges.

The Adelaide Zoo are always looking to supplement the diets of their animals especially those who eat browse (stems & leaves). You can donate some of the branches from your trees particularly Moreton Bay Figs.

Let’s give the zoo a hand feeding their hungry animals. Head to their website to find out more about the plants they need – your fresh trimmings could be someone’s dinner!
