Mozzies are one of THE most annoying pests. Their high pitched drone keeps you awake at night and they can quickly ruin an outdoor show.

Mozzies breed in damp spots their wrigglers love still water, so it’s important to tip out any water holding containers, including plant drip trays.

STEP TWO
Mosquitoes have a keen sense of smell, and love carbon dioxide. That’s the reason why they head to us when we are outside.

STEP THREE

STEP FOUR
Citronella Candles not only look stylish, the citronella essence it lets off when alight, has a lovely aroma that mosquitoes don’t like.

STEP FIVE
Mozzie Coils also work a treat as do the Mortein Mozzie Lantern which uses a specialized repellent pad that works for up to 4 hours.

STEP SIX
Bug Zappers attract a whole range of insects.

STEP SEVEN
Surface sprays applied under tables and chairs will provide another layer of protection against mosquitoes.

STEP EIGHT
Of course there is always personal insect repellents.
