Where would you find hundreds of thousands of rose blooms? On a rose farm like Wagner’s Rose Nurser, that’s where.

The wonderfully rich and fertile region around Kalangadoo in South Australia’s South East is home to Wagner’s Rose Nursery. Imagine working with roses all your life. Well, owner Brian Wagner certainly does.

Brian, took over Wagner’s Rose Nursery when aged 25 and was responsible for moving it from its well- known location in McLaren Vale to the idyllic surrounds of Kalangadoo, a small rural community 50 km north of Mount Gambier, in the heart of red gum country. The aboriginal word for Kalangadoo means “big trees in water.”

There’s certainly plenty of water and plenty of roses growing on Brian’s property. Wagner’s Rose Nursery grows and sells tens of thousands of rose plants from miniatures, bushes, standards and weeping types. The range is extensive.

Brian’s wife, Benedetta is a professional photographer, always keen to take a pic of roses to include on the businesses brilliant website.

There’s no doubt quality roses do best in your garden. If you’d like more information on Wagner’s Rose Nursery and, importantly how to get your hands on their plants, simply head to their website and place an order. Then just wait for it to arrive. It’s that easy!
